This humidor was commissioned for an
auction to raise money for a veterans
association. The commission was for a large
humidor, with a US flag design on the top.

The case of this humidor is made from Wenge,
a very hard dark wood from Africa, with an inlaid
band on the front and top.

The flag on the top is a hand crafted marquetry
design. Each piece is individually cut from
cherry wood (the red pieces), tiger maple (the
white) or dyed tiger maple (the blue). The
shading on the design is created by sand
scorching the individual pieces prior to
assembly.

The interior is fully lined with Spanish Cedar,
including the two lift-out trays

All external surfaces are lacquered to produce a
clear brilliant smooth finish

The overall dimensions of this humidor are;
18 inches wide
9 inches deep
10 inches high

Total capacity approximately 120 cigars
