Cheryl B ordered this humidor for her husband. The
design is his company logo.
The picture here is just of the lid, but the whole
humidor is nearing completion and getting close to
delivery.
Just for reference, below is the original drawing that I
sent out before I started work, to give the customer
an idea of what to expect. A few of the details have
changed, but the design is close to the drawing.
Also attached here is the Logo file that was sent to
me.
This one actually took advantage of laser cutting
(thanks to Lasercraft Engraving for their help). The
laser cut inlay allows a much smoother curve and
straighter straight line than I can cut by hand.
The humidor is made from black walnut with
Birdseye Maple and Burl Walnut inlays. The logo is
Burl Walnut with some black dye, to increase the
contrast with the background
