Goncalo Alves

Goncalo alves is a dense, strong, durable wood that takes a high polish and is used
mostly for decorative work, turnings and furniture. Heartwood marked by irregular
shades of brown and red. Color and density vary by species and growing conditions.
The primary species available is Astronium graveolens
Granadillo

Granadillo originates from the west coast of central America. The heartwood color
varies from rich red to an attractive yellow, with orange and red streaks. The grain is
irregular with many variables, but has a fine uniform texture.
Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry)

Brazilian Cherry, when first milled is a tan color w/black striping which turns a rich
deep red color over time. This species is a very popular species given its inherent
beauty, rich coloring and superior hardness.
Kingwood

The heartwood has variegated colours with a background of rich violet-brown,
shading almost to black with streaks of violet-brown, ark violet and black,
sometimes with golden yellow, presenting an unmistakeable appearance. Usually
straight grained, uniformly fine textured and lustrous
Leopardwood

The sapwood of leopardwood is brownish-red while the heartwood is more
chocolate-brown in color. The species has a tight grain. Due to its beautifully
figured nature, leopardwood's uses include flooring, flooring accents, cabinetry,
dining room furniture and interior trim.
